The only way to resolve the issue is to use Acronis Universal Restore tool that is available to owners of Acronis True Image and later. I have nearly the exact same problem. Periodic system hangs while acronis is installed, both 20versions. Problems go away once. When I try to open Acronis True Image while StableBit Scanner is open it hangs. I do have a complex system. Two CineRAID CR-H 4-Bay.
